Service Disclaimer

Acknowledgement of Risks and Release of Liability:

Power washing uses high-pressure and caustic chemicals to clean difficult stains off of exterior surfaces. Utilizing this pressure allows the best clean possible; however, operating at such high pressure can also cause damage. High Pro Power Washing Service Inc technicians are well trained in utilizing their equipment and take the utmost precautions in making sure the company does not cause harm to your investment. Although high pressure is not used on residential siding, damage can still occur due to poor maintenance, neglect to the property, and/or low-grade building materials. Homeowners should consult with their homebuilder to ensure that their home’s materials are able to be pressure washed. It is the responsibility of the homeowner to ensure that their property has been maintained in accordance with its manufacture’s recommendations and any defects or areas of concern are repaired prior to washing to ensure a watertight surface. The Homeowner assumes all of these risks and takes responsibility for any damage that occurs due to the above explanations. The Client also agrees to release the Company of any or all liability for injuries sustained due to equipment placement to include injuries from tripping/falling, striking equipment, falling debris or equipment.

Client Responsibilities on the Day of Service:

1. Make sure the water spigot is turned on and accessible from both the front and back.

2. All windows and doors should be closed securely.

3. Keep all pets indoors during the appointment and for two hours after the technicians depart.

4. Clear any items or furniture from the work areas, and remove flags, doormats, vehicles, and delicate materials from the washing zones.

5. The Company recommends that the Client turns off power to all exterior electrical outlets, light fixtures, and other electrically powered elements via the property’s breaker box, particularly for outlets without exterior covers. Optionally, removing or opening window screens will enable the Company to clean windowsills more effectively. Screen removal also promotes uniform detergent application and streak-free drying. It is crucial for the Client to inform the Company of any surfaces that should not be cleaned with high alkaline or acidic detergents (refer to exclusions below).

Exclusions:

• A $50.00 cancellation fee applies if cancellation notice is not provided within 24 hours of the scheduled service, or if the Company is unable to proceed with washing due to incomplete preparatory steps 1-4.

• A $50.00 processing fee will be charged for any checks that are returned.

• The Company is not liable for water intrusion. Despite efforts to prevent it, factors such as poor window and door seals or foundation cracks may render it inevitable.

• The Company disclaims responsibility for the infrequent “fogging” of multi-pane windows that occurs due to faulty seals.

• The service agreement does not guarantee complete stain removal. The Company aims for total customer satisfaction and will collaborate with homeowners should complete stain removal is not achieved.

• It is the responsibility of the homeowner to inform the Company of any surfaces around the home that should not come into contact with detergents. Without such notification, the Company is not liable for any adverse effects on these surfaces.
